Ora et labora is the traditional slogan of the Benedictine order of Catholic Monks. Applied here it’s a reminder to pause, be intentional, and honor the dignity of work.

This is neither a religious blog nor one disconnected from the world like the Benedictines traditionally are but rather my own personal monastery for thinking through things. Here I usually post statuses, readings (books and websites), movies, and anything I may wish to reference back to in the future.

This is mostly for me, but leave it public facing in case anything here could be of use to others.
